Quant Reports

FAQ

How can we help you today?

Looking for an answer? You are in the right place.

Pricing & Licensing
How do you charge?

Per report, with volume tiers. Custom work is priced after a short discovery.

Do you charge per user?

Not usually. Pricing is based on report volume rather than seats.

What's included in the fee?

Each tier includes a quota of management hours, usable for data uploads, template adjustments or custom development. Beyond the quota, additional support is billed at standard hourly rates.

Does the per-report price fall as volume grows?

Yes. Per-report cost reduces as volume increases, and monthly fees are capped so total cost stays predictable.

What is the contract term?

Agreements usually run annually, with the option to cancel monthly.

Why isn't pricing published?

Every manager has a different setup — number of funds, data sources, level of automation and reporting complexity — so a fixed price table would misprice most of them.

Data & Integrations
Which platforms do you integrate with?

Prebuilt integrations for Hub24, Netwealth, Praemium and BT. Connectivity with other platforms is more limited, but workable solutions exist.

What do you take from a platform?

Typically performance numbers and investment weights.

How does data reach you?

By API, SFTP or spreadsheet upload — whichever the source supports.

What if our data isn't on a platform?

Custodian feeds, APIs, SFTP, watched folders and spreadsheet import all work as sources.

Do we have to change administrator or custodian?

No. Quant Reports is data and admin agnostic — it connects to what you already run, with no rip-and-replace.

How often does data refresh?

Most clients run a monthly schedule. Weekly or more granular is available, and where a platform offers an API, daily. You can also upload manually at any time.

Can we bring licensed vendor data?

Yes. Vendor data is brought into the same governed model as your own.

What if a platform changes its export format?

It happens rarely, and when it does we absorb the work of adjusting the mapping.

What validation runs before data reaches a report?

Reconciliation logic in the ETL process checks that figures match across sources before anything reaches a template.

Onboarding
How long does implementation take?

Between two weeks and three months, depending on the size of the project.

What happens in the first session?

A 20-minute implementation session, in which we apply a template mock-up and your brand kit.

Who builds the first templates?

We usually build them. You can edit them afterwards.

What do you need from us to start?

Sample data, provider-fed data, or your own holdings and returns — whichever is easiest to supply.

Roles & Collaborations
Can several people work on reports at once?

Yes. We'd recommend against two people editing the same report simultaneously.

Is there an approval step before a report publishes?

Optionally, yes. An approval step can be enabled so a report requires sign-off before publishing.

Can we separate who edits templates from who publishes?

Yes. Editing and publishing are separate permissions.

Can our administrator or asset consultant have their own access?

Yes.

Features & Roadmap
Are reports interactive or PDF only?

Both. Static PDF export plus interactive, web-ready outputs with embedded charts.

Can we embed live charts on our own website?

Yes — live charts and visuals embed directly into your site as widgets.

Do you support shadow portfolios?

Yes. Models can be tracked alongside live accounts.

Can you produce SOA inserts and advice documents?

Yes — SOA inserts, portfolio summaries and advice documents.

What is the AI actually used for?

It is early. AI runs on our own infrastructure for speed and accuracy, and connects to engines that draft commentary and run checks. Some of it is in production; much is still in beta.

What's on the roadmap?

Ask us this on the contact form— we don’t invent FAQ answers that aren’t on the live site yet.

Branding
How much of the report can we control?

Layouts, colour palettes, content and standing disclosures — configured once and applied to every output.

Can we use our own fonts and disclosure text?

Yes. Both form part of the brand kit applied across report types.

Who owns the templates you build for us?

You are welcome to keep using templates we have built for you. They are not generally portable to another reporting system.

Can we apply more than one brand?

Ask us this on the contact form— we don’t invent FAQ answers that aren’t on the live site yet.

Security & Compliance
Where is our data hosted?

In Australia or Singapore.

Are you certified?

Quant Reports holds ISO 27001 certification.

Is data encrypted?

Yes — in transit and at rest.

Who at Quant Reports can access our data?

In normal operation, we do not access customer data.

Is our data separated from other clients'?

Yes. Each tenant runs on its own database.

Do you carry insurance?

We carry both professional indemnity and cyber cover.

What happens if a report goes out with an error?

Reports are versioned, can be re-issued, and carry an audit trail. Preflight checks run before a report is released to catch problems earlier.

Can you support GIPS-compliant presentations?

Yes. The platform includes the required widgets and calculation methodologies for GIPS-compliant presentations.

Support
What's the difference between sales and support?

Sales scopes reporting use cases, data sources, pricing and timelines. Support handles product issues, account access, and help with data, reports and exports.

What are your support hours and response times?

Support runs on Sydney hours. Response targets depend on severity — two hours for the most severe.

Do we get a named contact?

Enterprise clients are assigned a named contact.

Where is the documentation?

At quant-reports.gitbook.io/docs.

Ownership & Exit
Who owns the data we put in?

You do. We use it only for the purposes you specify.

Can we export everything if we leave?

Yes. Your data can be exported into preset formats on request.

What happens to published reports and embedded widgets if we leave?

Live widgets and hosted reports are served by the platform, so they do not continue after an engagement ends — you would need an alternative for those. Your underlying data is exportable.

Getting Started
Is there a trial?

A 30-day evaluation, by application. No credit card required. Time-limited and non-production.

Can we trial with our own data?

Yes — sample data, provider-fed data or your own holdings and returns.

What happens at the end of the trial?

The evaluation period can be extended.

What are the eligibility criteria?
